Data Deletion Policy

1. Your Right to Data Deletion
At TVET E-Learning Platform, we respect your right to control your personal data. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
2. How to Request Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your data by:
Option 1: Email Request
Send an email to support@tvet.la with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and include:
- Your full name
- Registered email address
- Registered phone number (if applicable)
- Your username
- Reason for deletion (optional)
Option 2: Self-Service Deletion
If you can access your account:
- Log in to your account
- Go to Profile → Preferences
- Select Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion
3. Data That Will Be Deleted
When you request account deletion, we will delete:
- Your profile information (name, email, phone, location)
- Your login credentials
- Your profile picture
- Your preferences and settings
- Login activity and usage logs
4. Data That May Be Retained
Some data may be retained for legal or administrative purposes:
- Course completion records and certificates (for verification)
- Transaction records (if applicable)
- Data required to be retained by law
5. Processing Time
Data deletion requests will be processed within 30 days of confirmation. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
6. Facebook Data Deletion
If you used Facebook to log in, you can remove the connection by:
- Log in to Facebook
- Go to Settings → Apps and Websites
- Find TVET E-Learning and click Remove
After removing from Facebook, please contact us to completely delete your account from our system.
